Twenty disciples returned to the Confucian sect and officially became Confucian disciples. “Returning to the Clan” is the etiquette performed to return to the Confucian sect and establish Confucianism. It consists of the ceremony of worship, the ceremony of encouragement, the ceremony of apprenticeship, the ceremony of repairing, and the ceremony of naming. This year’s returning disciples are from the Confucian generation with the word “wen” in their name. There are 20 students in total. Their study instructor is Mr. Zhou Beichen, the director-general of the Chinese Confucius Association and the director of the Shenzhen Confucius Church.
